About Us

How it All Started

Pete Darlington started pressure washing in 1982, working in his brother’s business as a way to earn money while going to college. He remained with the company after graduating from West Chester University. During this time Pete pressure washed thousands of houses. After getting married and moving to the Lehigh Valley, Pete started his own business, Darlington Exterior Services.

Peter found that his pressure washing clients were having a hard time finding high quality siding painting services for their aluminum sided homes and soon decided that his eye for quality and meticulous workmanship made painting a natural next step for his business. With Pete’s leadership Darlington Exterior Services has become a strong, successful company with thousands of satisfied customers!

Family Owned & Operated

Darlington Exterior Services continues to be family owned and operated. Over the years, many family members have worked for the business.

Today:

Pete’s brother-in law, Bill has been with the company since 2008. Bill has become integral to the success of Darlington Exterior Services. Everyone loves Bill! He brings positive energy and a strong work ethic to every job!

Pete’s nephew, Clint, joined the team in 2020. Clint is a smart, strong, go-getter who has quickly learned all aspects of providing a quality job to our customers. Starting in Spring, 2025, he will be taking a more prominent role in the day to day operations of the business.

FUN FACT:

Clint was the Penn State Nittany Lion during 2009 and 2010.

Why Repainting Aluminum Siding is a Better Option

Aluminum Siding is a Premium Product

It is more rigid than vinyl and therefore doesn’t warp and expand and contract like vinyl. Aluminum siding is more durable and will far outlast any person’s lifetime.

It saves you money! Repainting aluminum siding is less expensive than replacing with vinyl.Typically repainting aluminum siding is 1/3 to 1/2 of the cost of replacing with vinyl.

Saves You Money

When you paint aluminum siding, the paint color choices are endless. You are not limited to the color selection of the vinyl siding manufacturer.

Endless Color Options

Better for the Environment

It is better for the environment.Keeping a premium product that is already on the house instead of tearing it off and replacing it with a plastic product.
